World Gym Stafford sits in one of Brisbane's well-establishednorthside pockets, right on Stafford Road and around 9km north ofBrisbane CBD - well connected and easy to build a loyal localmember base around. Stafford City Shopping Centre is just up theroad, giving your team (and members) easy access to Woolworths,Aldi, Kmart, a cinema and dozens of specialty stores before orafter a session, with Bunnings Stafford also close by and good buslinks running direct to the CBD and Chermside.

World Gym Stafford is a large, well-established club with aloyal member base and a strong local reputation, offering modernequipment across the gym floor, a dedicated cycle studio, and afull group fitness timetable including Les Mills classes. The clubis backed by an experienced personal training team and a hands-on,well-regarded management team, with on-site parking available.

We're seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Facility Managerto lead this exciting location. As the most senior leader on site,you will oversee the gym, retail, café and Supps Bar operations,driving performance, profitability, and a seamless member journeyacross the entire facility.

Leading a Club Manager and a Retail & Reception Manager, you'llinspire a high-performing team that delivers strong operations anda culture aligned with World Gym's values.

This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.You'll take ownership of financial performance, operationalexcellence, compliance, and continuous improvement - while creatinga destination where members love to train and teams love towork.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

Qualifications & Certifications

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) (or willingness to obtain)

Skills & Experience:





- Proven experience in multi-department leadership,preferably in fitness, hospitality, retail, or serviceindustries.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to managebudgets, financial reporting, payroll oversight, andoperational planning.
- Track record of building, leading, and developinghigh-performing leadership teams.
- Experience driving revenue growth, membership sales, retailperformance, or customer retention initiatives.
- Ability to analyse performance data and implementstrategies that improve commercial and operationaloutcomes.
- Sound understanding of WHS compliance and risk managementobligations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflictresolution skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to managecompeting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for delivering exceptional member experiences andbuilding strong community engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing leadership team,fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration andservice excellence.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations across the gym, retail,creche, group fitness and member services to ensure a seamlessmember experience.
- Take ownership of the facility’s financial performance,including budgeting, revenue growth, payroll oversight andexpense management.
- Analyse performance metrics to drive continuous improvementacross membership, retail and service delivery.
- Champion initiatives that enhance the member journey,increase retention and strengthen community engagement.
- Drive local marketing initiatives and oversee the club’ssocial media presence to grow brand awareness andengagement.
- Ensure full compliance with WHS, childcare regulations andcompany policies, maintaining the highest safety andoperational standards.
