The Fresh Collective is seeking an experienced, highly organised and people-focused Senior Events Operations Manager to lead the operational planning and delivery of premium events across our Victorian venues.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in a quick-paced, multi-site events environment. You will oversee the full event lifecycle—from pre-event planning and venue readiness through to service delivery, pack-down and post-event review—while ensuring every experience reflects The Fresh Collective’s service standards of excellence.

Working closely with venue teams, kitchen, logistics, suppliers, clients and internal departments, you will be the key operational link that ensures events are delivered safely, seamlessly and to the highest standard.

THE ROLE

- Report directly to the General Manager – Victoria
- Lead the operational planning, coordination and delivery of events across multiple Fresh Victorian venues and spaces
- Oversee event setup, service execution, room resets, pack-down and equipment reconciliation
- Ensure each event is operationally ready through detailed review of function sheets, floorplans, staffing, logistics and venue requirements
- Manage multiple concurrent events and proactively resolve operational issues as they arise
- Work closely with clients, venue operations, kitchen, logistics, retail, security, building services and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
- Lead and support Event Operations Managers, Service Managers, Head Waiters, Head Bartenders and casual service teams
- Recruit, induct, train and develop service colleagues,



building a capable and collaborative team culture
- Coordinate operational equipment, linen, consumables, stocktakes, supplier orders and equipment hire
- Conduct event briefings, walkthroughs, operational checks and post-event debriefs
- Maintain exceptional service, presentation, food and beverage, safety and operational standards across all event spaces
- Complete operational reporting, supplier invoice approvals, risk assessments, maintenance reports and other administrative responsibilities accurately and on time

ESSENTIALS

- Demonstrated senior event operations experience across multiple sites or venues; this is essential
- Extensive experience leading front-of-house food and beverage teams within functions, events, hospitality or premium venues
- Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale and simultaneous events from planning through to pack-down
- Strong experience coordinating event logistics, floorplans, staffing, equipment, suppliers and venue requirements
- A confident, visible and supportive leadership style, with experience coaching and developing diverse event teams
- Exceptional client-service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, venue partners and internal stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail-focused and calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong written, verbal and administrative communication skills
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and event risk management
