We’re hiring: Casual Chef de Partie roles
Curiosa / STACKS & National Portrait Gallery, Canberra
The Fresh Collective is recruiting Casual Chef de Partie team members for two exciting Canberra opportunities:
- Curiosa and STACKS: approximately 24 hours per week, with evening shifts Wednesday to Sunday.
- National Portrait Gallery Canberra: approximately 24 hours per week, with daytime shifts available across the week.
Curiosa is Canberra’s newest neighbourhood wine bar, inspired by the food, wine and culture of Italy. Alongside it, STACKS is a busy sandwich and coffee bar. At the National Portrait Gallery, our team delivers high-quality café food and events catering in one of Canberra’s most iconic cultural venues.
These roles suit capable, enthusiastic chefs who enjoy a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in consistently great food and presentation.
About you:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Experience in a busy café, restaurant or events kitchen
- Confidence running your own section
- Robust communication skills and a positive, team-first approach
- A passion for cooking and an openness to learning
- Valid Australian working rights
What’s on offer:
- Casual Level 6 hourly rate plus super
- Approximately 24 hours per week
- Evening shifts Wednesday to Sunday at Curiosa / STACKS, or daytime shifts across the week at the National Portrait Gallery
