We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to join our growing HR team in Sydney.
The role will primarily focus on end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, working closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective hiring solutions.
For candidates with strong HRBP experience and business partnering capability, there will also be opportunities to support business teams across broader HR areas, including employee relations, performance management, talent management and organisational development.
This is a hands-on role with the chance to grow into a broader HR Business Partner position as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding hiring needs through to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and hiring plans.
- Source, screen and assess candidates through a range of recruitment channels.
- Manage candidate communication, interviews, offers and pre-employment processes.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key and recurring positions.
- Monitor recruitment performance and identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency and candidate quality.
HR Business Support
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
- Support employee relations, performance management and people-related matters.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand workforce challenges and provide practical HR solutions.
- Support talent management, team development and other people initiatives.
- For experienced candidates, take on broader HRBP responsibilities supporting designated business functions.
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organisational development and talent management.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business and people decisions.
- Participate in HR projects and organisational initiatives.
About You
- 3+ years of HR experience, with solid experience in recruitment / talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Commercial and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical HR solutions.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in HRBP, employee relations, performance management or talent management is highly regarded.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, technology or other fast-growing businesses is advantageous.
- Good English communication skills.
