We’re a small, fully licensed domestic and commercial building company looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to become a key member of our tight-knit team.

This is an important role within our business. You’ll work alongside our leading hand and trade assistant across a varied mix of projects throughout Melbourne, with the opportunity to take ownership of jobs and help lead our growing residential new-build division.

About the role

Our projects include:

- Residential renovations, extensions and refits
- Verandahs, decking and other outdoor structures
- Sheet-metal roofing associated with outdoor structures
- Hardscaping and external construction
- Residential new builds

What we’re looking for

- Qualified carpenter with solid industry experience
- Broad, practical skills across different areas of building and construction
- Experience working on new homes, renovations and extensions
- Sheet-metal roofing experience would be advantageous
- Ability to read and work from plans and specifications
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to tackle wide-ranging tasks
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confidence coordinating trades and managing site activities

- Ability to lead, take ownership and work well within a small team
- Clear and professional communication with clients, trades and suppliers
- Your own reliable vehicle and a full set of tools suitable for the role
