The Role

The French Exit is on the lookout for Pastry Chefs to join the team. If you have a passion for the art of craft and finer details, this role will see youproducing our dessert offering and upholding our standard of quality, formulating high-quality desserts that complement the venue's menu. You will collaborate closely with senior kitchen staff to deliver consistent, creative dishes and contribute first hand to our standards of excellence.

Skills & Experience





- Experience in pastry production or a similar role within a quality-driven restaurant or bakery
- Understanding of baking principles, dessert textures, and finishing techniques
- Ability to maintain consistency in flavour and presentation within a fast-paced setting
- Accurate storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients and products
- Sound knowledge of WHS procedures and organisational hygiene
- Team-oriented approach and willingness to support across sections when required
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
