About the Catholic Development Fund

Catholic Development Fund (CDF) is a values-based financial institution that provides funding and support across its footprint of Catholic organisations, including parishes, primary and secondary schools, healthcare, aged care, and social services providers.

Our work enables real impact: from hospital wings for the sick, safe havens for the homeless, and classrooms for the young – we support our customers to grow their mission. Through our expertise and commitment, we help Catholic organisations and everyday people put their faith into action and contribute to a fairer, more cohesive society.

About the Role

The Client Services Group is considered the engine room of CDF. Our team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge and is known for its welcoming and supportive culture. The customer service provided by this integral group is two-fold; phone and email support for all direct client and community account enquiries as well as internal administrative support for our Relationship Managers.

We are seeking a customer-focused professional with a passion for service excellence to be the face of our Customer Support function, supporting both clients and internal colleagues. This is a full-time 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity supporting the Client Services Group during a period of increased operational demand.

Your exceptional attention to detail, combined with experience in customer service, transaction banking or administration, will position you well for success in this role.

Our formal training program backed by mentoring within the Client Services Group will support you as your knowledge grows.

We offer a hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days per week in our East Melbourne office and flexibility to work from home on the remaining days. Our office is in East Melbourne, close to beautiful garden spaces, CBD eateries and is a two-minute walk from Parliament Station. You'll join a collaborative and supportive team that values learning, knowledge sharing and delivering exceptional service to our clients and communities.
