Role Overview

UMENCO is currently recruiting a Store Manager to join a contemporary womenswear brand who are defined by their effortless simplicity, balanced refined ease with everyday wearability.

The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the Paddington store and delivering an elevated, considered retail experience that reflects the brand’s distinctive aesthetic and values. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful talent will oversee all aspects of store operations while leading by example and fostering a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.

The Store Manager will inspire and develop the Retail Sales team, driving individual and store-level performance while ensuring consistently exceptional customer service. A natural relationship builder, the successful talent will cultivate a loyal personal client base, nurture existing VIP relationships and provide thoughtful styling guidance that brings the brand experience to life. The Store Manager will educate clients on the brand’s values, collections and aesthetic, creating meaningful connections that extend beyond the store.





Commercial performance will be central to the role, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, IPT and AOV. The successful talent will proactively identify opportunities to drive sales and customer engagement, contributing ideas for in-store activations and supporting their execution. Alongside this, the successful talent will oversee daily store operations including POS, stock management, inventory accuracy, rosters, team training and employee processes, ensuring the store consistently operates to the highest standard.

The role will also support the brands broader customer experience, assisting with the prompt dispatch of online orders and responding to customer enquiries through Live Chat and email. Maintaining an impeccable store environment, while ensuring all policies, processes and operational requirements are executed with accuracy and attention to detail.

Highly organised, proactive and adaptable, the Store Manager will bring excellent communication and time management skills, a collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
