About the Position
We are excited to welcome a part-time (0.8FTE) Administration Officer to our Cairns Individual Support Services team! In this key role, you'll provide high-quality administrative and operational support to teams working across Queensland to deliver specialised, trauma-informed services for children and young people. Your organisation, attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure the program operates efficiently and continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
- Level 3 SCHCADS Award.
- Salary range: $80,009 - $85,799 (pro-rata) + Superannuation.
- Part-time [0.8FTE], maximum term contract opportunity until 15 October 2027 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service excellence by providing proactive administrative assistance to geographically dispersed ISS teams across Act for Kids.
- Keep operations running smoothly through financial administration, brokerage processing, reporting support and records management.
- Coordinate essential program activities including meetings, documentation, communications and the secure management of sensitive information.
- Drive efficiency and consistency by maintaining office systems, supporting program resources and helping teams operate effectively.

About You
- Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years’ experience providing administrative support to a busy office and multidisciplinary team, preferably in the human services industry.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
- Current driver’s licence.
