About the role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Team Member (Fast Food) to join our team at Marrybrown in Geelong. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment. You will work in our fast-paced environment, contributing to the preparation and delivery of quality food services to our customers. This role is based in Geelong, VIC 3220 and is perfect for individuals seeking casual work with potential for increased hours and responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and assemble food items in accordance with our recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards

- Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens and other food preparation tools

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during service periods

- Keep the kitchen clean and organised, including washing up, restocking supplies and maintaining work stations

- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines

- Respond positively to feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in kitchen operations

- Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory management as required

What we're looking for

- Enthusiasm and passion for working in a fast-paced hospitality environment

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards

- Robust teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively

- Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (such as Food Handling or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)

- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods,



lift items and work in a warm kitchen environment

- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to casual shift work, including potential weekend and evening availability

- Positive attitude, energy and commitment to excellent customer service

- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
