Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and forming part of the PTA Corporate Executive, you will lead a multidisciplinary portfolio encompassing civil, track, signalling, communications, electrical, engineering asset management, rail safety and infrastructure delivery functions. You will provide strategic leadership across the lifecycle of transport infrastructure, ensuring assets are maintained, upgraded and developed to support safe, reliable and efficient public transport services for Western Australians.

This role requires a highly accomplished executive capable of balancing strategic vision with operational excellence while leading large-scale infrastructure outcomes in a complex and high-profile environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a recognised leader with significant executive experience delivering major infrastructure, engineering or transport outcomes within large and complex organisations.

You will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signalling or related discipline) with extensive experience in rail, transport, infrastructure or major construction environments.
- A proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and complex engineering functions while driving strategic organisational objectives.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing long-term infrastructure strategies, asset management frameworks and operational improvement initiatives.
- Extensive experience managing safety, risk, compliance and governance requirements within heavily regulated operating environments.

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across government, industry and executive leadership groups.
- A collaborative leadership style that promotes accountability, innovation, inclusion and high performance.
