Red Arrow Australia are seeking experienced and safety conscious Autonomous Mining Systems Technicians for our Tier 1 client in the Pilbara on a casual basis.

The Autonomous Mining Systems Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on autonomous and Auxiliary mining systems using advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues, complete component replacements, and ensure the reliability of on-site autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on autonomous and Auxiliary mining systems.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues, complete component replacements, and ensure the reliability of in office autonomous systems.
- Work independently, upholding high standards of work quality.

Experience/Skills Required:

- Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in heavy mobile equipment.
- To understand relevant legislation and regulations. (e.g., Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations).
- Ability to perform work autonomously.
- Proficient in using OEM electrical systems and programs to a high standard.
- Ability to accurately input work notifications for future planning within SAP.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to perform safe, efficient repairs and component change-outs.
- Strong communication skills for precise written handovers and effective teamwork.
- Competence in managing time effectively to complete tasks within set timeframes.

Qualifications:





- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanics or Automotive Electrical, or Certificate in Communications, or Certificate IV Electronics and Communications desirable
- Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.
- Valid C Class driver's license.

Flights from Perth to site, and site to Perth covered - Interstate/overseas flights to Perth are not covered.
All meals and accommodation are provided.

If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance, no older than 3 months, and pass a full heavy medical.

Must have full rights to work in Australia.
