The Opportunity We’re working with an established packaging business looking for an Internal Account Manager to join their team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who knows the packaging world and enjoys building strong customer relationships, coordinating jobs and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This isn’t a heavy new-business sales role. You’ll be focused on looking after existing customers, managing enquiries and orders, and working closely with production, estimating, sales and other internal teams to make sure customers receive the right solution, on time.
The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing accounts and act as a key point of contact throughout the customer journey. Day to day, you’ll be handling quotes and enquiries, processing and tracking orders, coordinating with production and suppliers, managing timelines and keeping customers updated.
You’ll also have the opportunity to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, helping grow relationships organically rather than spending your day cold calling.
What We’re Looking For Ideally,
you’ll already have experience within packaging, print or a closely related manufacturing environment and understand how jobs move from initial enquiry through quoting, artwork, production and delivery.
Experience across areas such as cartons, corrugated, labels, flexible packaging or other printed packaging products would be highly regarded.
You’ll be someone who is naturally organised, confident speaking with customers and comfortable juggling multiple jobs at once. Strong attention to detail is important, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal production teams.
