About the role

CK Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our team on a casual basis. There is a night and afternoon shift position based in Erskine Park, NSW. As a Skid Steer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our recycling facility operations, utilising specialised equipment to support site productivity and project timelines. This position offers flexibility through casual work arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking variable hours in the industry.

Key responsibilities

- Operate skid steer loaders safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements and safety protocols

- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance tasks to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition

- Load car and truck tyres onto conveyor belts along with sorting and organising stockpiles of used Tyres

- An electronic prestart check must be carried out prior to starting on mobile equipment

- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors, foremen and other team members regarding site operations

- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements

- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly

- Work effectively during night and afternoon shift schedules to support continuous project delivery

What we're looking for

- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator Licence or equivalent qualification for operating skid steer loaders

- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders on construction sites

- Current High Risk Work (HRW) Licence or willingness to obtain one

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

- Flexibility to work night and afternoon shifts as required

- Valid driver's licence





- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks when required

- Experience with site maintenance and minor equipment troubleshooting (preferred)
