The Role
We're seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and minor works across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Cardiff and the surrounding region.
You'll play a key role in ensuring electrical systems and assets operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service. Working across a range of commercial and industrial environments, you'll perform maintenance on electrical systems including emergency lighting, switchboards, and high-voltage infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance and repairs
- Maintenance and testing of emergency lighting systems
- Fault finding and rectification of electrical systems and switchboards
- Completing work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with the mentoring and development of apprentices
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and compliance requirements
- Participating in an on-call roster as required
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining strong customer relationships
Your Education, Experience & Skills
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (essential)
- Qualified Supervisor's Licence (essential)
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
- Experience in commercial maintenance, facilities management, or service-based electrical environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience mentoring apprentices is highly regarded
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
