- Responsible for water and/or sewage treatment plants and networks across Australia

- Designing operation & maintenance processes and protocols

- Work on existing ongoing contracts, gain experience, travel to regional and remote places around Australia.

- This role requires frequent travel commitment (75-100%) to regional and remote locations across Australia.

- Fulltime Work – Essential Work Fixed Term Employment

- Remuneration Base on role and experience + 12% super + penalty rates for overtime and call out + Leave entitlements + Travel and accommodation paid + vehicle on the job.

This Relief Plant Operator role will provide the successful candidate with a variety of responsibilities and tasks that will keep them fully engaged. From managing wastewater treatments plants, on-site testing, maintenance/calibration of field equipment to developing job safety analyses and preparation of operation and maintenance manuals.

In addition to proven experience as a Water and/or Wastewater Plant Operator, you will need to possess the following attributes to succeed in this role:





- Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience in water and/or wastewater operations

- A practical mindset with a strong interest in understanding how things work

- Enjoy analysing technical data and researching topics of interest

- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders

- Solid attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors in data sets

- Ability to work at a fast pace and respond well to competing demands

- Willingness to address difficult situations when necessary

- Strong listening skills

- Ability to develop innovative solutions to problems

- Proactive approach to identifying and preventing potential issues

- Confident decision-maker using both intuition and data

- Persistent and determined when required

Must have :

- Certificate III in Water Operations & proven Experience in water and wastewater treatment and quality testing

- Class "C" Drivers Licence

- Construction White Card

- ·onfined Spaces Entry Course

- Working Safely at Heights Course

Desirable experience :

- Jetter ticket

- 4WD- In snowy conditions

- MR Licence

- Excavator ticket

Current Positions available at Snowy Monaro Region, NSW/ Fixed term contract x9 months.

Applicants must hold valid Australian work rights at time of application.

- Network officer/Plumbers-Cooma, NSW [$40-$45/hour as per expierence]
