About the role
This is a permanent, full-time graduate position for someone with 0 to 2 years of experience. You'll be supported as you build your technical knowledge and confidence, and your responsibilities will grow over time. They may include:
- Preparing individual tax returns
- Preparing BAS and other compliance work
- Assisting with general taxation and accounting matters
- Communicating with clients and responding to their queries
- Working with our accounting and practice management systems
- Supporting senior accountants and managers with client work
- Developing your skills through ongoing training and hands-on experience
You'll work alongside an experienced team and be exposed to a broad range of clients, with genuine opportunities for growth for the right person.
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- A completed or nearly completed accounting degree
- A genuine interest in building a career in public practice
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work
- Good organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with learning current technology and systems
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn
Previous accounting experience is welcome but not essential. We care most about attitude, communication and a willingness to learn.
