About the role

Reminiscence Tapas Bar is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar and Waitstaff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is a casual position based in Springwood NSW 2777, offering flexibility for those looking to develop their skills in the hospitality and tourism industry. As a member of our bar and waiting staff, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring every visit to Reminiscence Tapas Bar is memorable and enjoyable.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant procedures

- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and promptly from customers

- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely and professional manner

- Providing detailed knowledge of menu items, specials, and drink recommendations

- Processing payments and operating point-of-sale systems efficiently

- Clearing and resetting tables between services to maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Assisting bar staff with drink preparation and service during busy periods

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards

- Responding to guest requests and complaints with professionalism and courtesy

- Supporting the team to ensure smooth service flow throughout shifts

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in waiting staff, bar service, or hospitality roles is highly desirable

- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality

- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team

- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods

- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays





- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely

- Reliability and punctuality in attendance

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Knowledge of food safety and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification is preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
