About us

Join a supportive and collaborative team where you will build your fund accounting expertise while contributing to the financial management of QIC’s real estate investment portfolio. As one of Australia’s leading institutional investment managers, we provide investment capabilities across real estate, infrastructure, private debt, private equity and liquid markets.

About the role

Working closely with the Senior Accountants and Finance Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely accounting, reporting, cash flow, taxation and operational activities across allocated real estate investments and funds.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting general month-end accounting and recurring fund reporting activities.
- Preparing monthly unit pricing,



investor reporting and performance reporting.
- Calculating distributions payable to investors.
- Assisting with statutory financial statements, tax balances and supporting workpapers.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts, monitoring bank accounts and completing general ledger entries.
- Supporting fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions and unit transfers.
- Assisting with property acquisitions and disposals, including settlement adjustments and related accounting requirements.
- Preparing audit files and supporting the external audit process.
- Working collaboratively with Real Estate Funds Management, investment teams, property accounting teams and external service providers.

About You

You will be joining a knowledgeable and supportive team that values collaboration, accountability and professional development. You will bring:

- A degree in accounting, business or commerce and a CPA or CA qualification.
- Experience in fund accounting or investment management, ideally including month-end reporting, unit pricing, funds management or distributions.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, financial reporting and accounting controls.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work within recurring deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial systems or reporting tools
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement
