Administration Officer | The Wesley Hospital - Emergency Centre

Employment Term: Permanent Part Time - 8 shifts per fortnight - 30.4 hours per week.
Location: Auchenflower, just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City
Remuneration: $33.48 - $35.17 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

Responsible for the provision of thorough administrative support for our Emergency Department, you will provide exceptional customer service for patients and visitors.

You will apply sound interpersonal communication and organisational skills in liaising with a wide range of health professionals, patients and visitors, with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality when dealing with personal information.

Our Emergency Centre staff provide an efficient, professional and client focused administration support in the Department and participate in a 24/7 roster system.

What makes a difference for us?

- Experience working within a Private Practice, hospital administration and/or Emergency Dept highly desirable.

- Previous experience in a patient or customer-facing role.

- Medical Accounts experience is desirable.





- Excellent customer service and administration skills.

- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to support others, lead from the front and contribute to a positive team culture.

- Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, quickly and efficiently.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

- Experienced using Cerner and/or other Medical Software.

- Willingness to work a variety of shift times, including evening and overnight shifts.

- Experience using Cerner and/or SAP (desirable).

- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check
