About Us

The Iron Infusion Clinic, part of Sanguis Health Group, is one of Australia's largest providers of iron infusions, with clinics across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

Our specialist-led clinics provide care across iron deficiency, women's health and paediatric health, working alongside specialist haematologists and nurse practitioners.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Brisbane team.

This position is available on either a casual or permanent part-time basis, depending on the successful candidate. The role will be based across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, working three full working days, with the potential for additional hours.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an significant role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while supporting the smooth operation of our busy clinic.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism

- Managing appointments, enquiries and patient bookings

- Answering telephone and email enquiries

- Managing patient check-in and check-out

- Processing payments and administrative tasks

- Updating patient information and medical records accurately

- Liaising with doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners

- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy





- Supporting the general administration and day-to-day running of the clinic

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in medical reception or healthcare administration

- Friendly, professional and genuinely patient-focused

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

- Confident managing a busy reception and competing priorities

- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team

- Confident with technology and able to learn new systems quickly

- Reliable, proactive and willing to take initiative

- Familiar with medical practice software and healthcare privacy requirements desirable
