Maintenance Supervisors & Trades

Heritage Minerals is coming back to life, restoring the rattle and hum of 30 years past.

As we continue the restart of the historic Mount Morgan Gold Mine, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors, Trades and Rigging personnel to support our processing plant, mobile equipment and fixed plant maintenance operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing operation from the ground up, helping ensure the reliability, safety and performance of our processing plant, heavy mobile equipment, infrastructure and mining assets.

We are looking for locals who are experienced, safety-focused people who take pride in their workmanship, have strong leadership and technical skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.

- Maintenance Supervisors
- Fixed Plant Fitters
- Diesel Fitters
- Boilermakers
- Electricians
- Riggers
- Advanced Riggers
- Doggers
- Other qualified trades and maintenance personnel

Experience We Are Looking For

Particular consideration will be given to applicants with experience in:

- Mineral processing plants
- Gold processing operations
- Fixed plant maintenance
- Heavy mobile mining equipment
- Heavy machinery and earthmoving equipment
- Crushing, screening, conveying and processing equipment
- Shutdowns, commissioning and construction activities
- Workshop and field maintenance
- Rigging and heavy lifts

Experience across processing plant or heavy mobile equipment will be highly regarded.

Roster Opportunities

A range of permanent roster arrangements will be available depending on the position and operational requirements, including:

- 7 days on / 7 days off – Day Shift
- 7 days on / 7 days off – Day & Night Shift
- 5 days on / 2 days off

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and undertake preventative,



predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Maintain processing plant, fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and equipment faults where applicable.
- Complete inspections, repairs, servicing and condition monitoring.
- Support shutdowns, commissioning, construction and plant maintenance activities.
- Safely undertake rigging, lifting and equipment relocation activities within the scope of relevant qualifications.
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with site safety and operational requirements.
- Identify defects, hazards and opportunities for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance and technical teams.
- Supervisors and Leading Hands will provide effective leadership, planning and coordination of maintenance teams and activities.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy industry or similar environments.
- Experience working on processing plants and/or heavy mobile machinery.
- Robust mechanical, technical and troubleshooting skills relevant to your trade.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work the roster applicable to your position.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and availability.

For Maintenance Supervisor positions, previous experience supervising maintenance teams within a processing plant, mining or heavy industrial environment will be highly regarded.

For Rigger positions,



experience with heavy lifts and industrial/mining construction or maintenance activities is highly desirable.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant Australian Trade Qualification or recognised competency for the position.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- For Riggers: C1 High Risk Work Licence and/or Advanced Rigging qualification, as applicable to the position.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
- National Police Check, or ability to obtain one.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- Processing plant maintenance experience.
- Heavy mobile equipment experience.
- Supervisory or Leading Hand experience.
- Advanced Rigging, Dogging and High Risk Work Licences.
- Forklift and EWP licences.
- Confined Space Entry.
- Working at Heights.
- First Aid.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience.
- CMMS experience such as Pronto, SAP or similar.
- Experience working on shutdowns, commissioning or major construction projects.
