Maddalon Earthmoving Services is a trusted truck and plant hire business based in Melbourne’s western suburbs. With our own extensive fleet of trucks and earthmoving equipment, supported by a reliable network of subcontractors, we supply projects of all sizes across metropolitan Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fleet Allocator to join our Operations team—the information hub that keeps every part of our business connected. Working closely with our Sales team, Customers, Accounts team and Mechanical Workshop, you will help coordinate people, equipment and information in a busy, rewarding frontline role.

What you’ll be doing

· Receive and coordinate bookings by phone and email from our Sales team and Customers.

· Allocate trucks and plant using our purpose-built in-house system.

· Confirm rates with the Sales team,



customers and management to ensure every booking is accurate.

· Receive maintenance reports from fleet drivers and assist the Workshop and Fleet Managers with coordinating breakdown responses.

· Respond promptly and professionally to customer and subcontractor enquiries by phone and email.

· Look for practical ways to continually improve the customer experience.

· Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while staying organised and keeping priorities on track.

What you’ll bring

· Reliability and flexibility to work Monday to Friday, participate in a midweek on-call roster and occasionally work Saturdays, with additional payment provided.

· Experience as a fleet allocator, transport coordinator, bookings coordinator or in a similar role.

· Knowledge of the construction, earthworks or tipper industries will be highly regarded.

· Strong, professional communication and customer service skills.

· The ability to remain calm, focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

· Confidence using Microsoft Office programs and learning new systems.

· Full Australian working rights.
