We are currently seeking two (2) team members who want to be part of a 24/7 team providing timely and accurate information during emergencies.
About the Role
The Coordinator Public Information role offers the prospect to join the multi-award-winning Strategic and Emergency Communications team, helping keep Western Australians safe and informed.
Based in the State Operations Centre, you will issue accurate and timely alerts and warnings, work closely with operational personnel and media teams, and contribute to projects that strengthen DFES' public information capability.
This unique role places you at the heart of emergency response while helping improve how we communicate with the community.
