About the role
This is an acting and performance coaching role for young performers. You will teach Acting for Film across primary and secondary-aged programs, delivering an established curriculum that combines actor training with practical on-camera experience. You will need to understand screen performance, analyse an actor's work and provide clear, practical coaching that helps young performers develop. The role also involves preparing students for filmed outcomes and working collaboratively with film operators and the wider creative team. While you will need a practical understanding of cameras, framing and the filming process, your primary expertise should be working with actors, not equipment.

About us
Goat Track Theatre is a well established theatre and actor-training company established in 2009. The company delivers performing arts programs for young people across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast and year on year is growing to meet demands. Our students range from primary-aged children taking their first steps into performance through to teenagers undertaking advanced actor training and substantial film and theatre projects. We take young people seriously as artists. Our programs are structured and curriculum-driven, but our classrooms and studios are energetic, playful and deeply human. We want our students to leave Goat Track as more confident performers, better collaborators and braver creative people.
