Are you an experienced health and safety professional who enjoys working with people and wants the opportunity to genuinely influence workplace culture?

Glamorgan Spring Bay Council is seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to provide practical, contemporary advice and support across our organisation.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You’ll work closely with employees, managers and Council’s leadership team to strengthen our approach to workplace health, safety and wellbeing, support effective systems and processes, and help build a positive and proactive safety culture.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can combine strong WHS knowledge with a practical, people-focused approach. You’ll be comfortable providing advice and guidance, building relationships across different work environments, and helping managers and employees understand what good safety practice looks like in their day-to-day work.

Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who can engage with people at all levels, clearly communicating the 'WHY',



and bring a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset to the role.

What we offer

- Salary of $100,000–$110,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

- 18.5% superannuation, with the option to receive the additional 6.5% above the statutory superannuation guarantee as ordinary time earnings

- 17.5% annual leave loading, plus the option, subject to approval, to purchase up to an additional 10 days of annual leave each year

- Three additional paid days of Christmas gratia leave between Christmas and New Year

- Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
