Bring your senior hospitality leadership, strong commercial skills and hands-on management experience to a busy multi-outlet venue in the Northern Territory.

We’re looking for an accomplished General Manager, Hotel Manager or senior Venue Manager who can confidently oversee a diverse operation spanning across accommodation, bar, restaurant, gaming and bottleshop, while leading a large team and maintaining high operational and service standards.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the venue, working closely with department heads and operational teams to ensure every area of the business runs efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, developing people, driving standards and taking ownership of the overall performance of the property.

You’ll oversee:

- Overall day-to-day management of the venue

- Accommodation, bar, restaurant, gaming and bottleshop operations

- Leadership, mentoring and development of department heads and operational teams





- Hands-on support across the venue and leading by example

- Recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management

- Staff rostering and labour management

- Stock control, purchasing, ordering and regular stocktakes

- Supplier relationships and negotiations

- Budgeting, wage control and financial management

- Monitoring and improving operational performance and profitability

- Maintaining exceptional customer service and guest experience

- Gaming, liquor and food safety compliance

- Guest, customer, supplier and stakeholder relations

- Planning and overseeing events and functions

- Operational reporting and general administration

- Working collaboratively with department heads to achieve business objectives

- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and the overall guest experience

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a confident hospitality professional who understands the demands of managing a remote, multi-department venue and is equally comfortable working strategically and getting hands-on when required.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or senior Venue Manager

- Strong hands-on experience within pub, tavern or hotel operations

- Extensive experience across bar, restaurant, gaming and bottleshop

- Proven experience leading and developing department heads

- Strong financial, commercial and operational management skills

- Excellent leadership and people-management abilities

- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

- A genuine focus on customer service and guest experience





- The ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a remote workplace

- Strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills

- Current NT RSA and Gaming Licence, or the ability to obtain

- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance

- Previous regional or remote hospitality experience will be highly regarded

- $120,000 salary + superannuation
