Your Role

Common Duties
- Installing, maintaining and altering telecommunications systems and general equipment for Army deployments in peace, crisis or conflict
- Planning, designing, implementing and maintaining complex communications and information systems
- Assisting commanders by communicating vital information using radio, fibre optic, information systems, satellite links and more
- Ensuring the Army's information services are available wherever needed
- General soldiering duties, such as manning defensive positions, patrolling, traffic control, camouflaging of vehicles and field equipment, and navigation.

Market-competitive salary + Generous Superannuation of 16.4%
Starting salary while training: $60,517 per year
Salary after completing training: $90,919 per year
Your salary will continue to increase based on your rank and years of service.
Location
Once you have completed your training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. Most of these positions are in North QLD, South QLD, NSW, and the NT.
Eligibility
For this role, you must:
- Be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English, Maths and Science (preferably with a physics component)
