?️ About the Role

The Estimating team is seeking to employ an Estimator at our Auburn production facility, focused on Sheetfed Offset, Digital and Wide Format print estimating.

You will be supported by the Group Estimating Manager and Production Managers who will provide you with in-depth training across processes and systems. Working closely with key stakeholders and the Estimating team, you will be responsible for the preparation of quotes in a logical format, gathering information from sales and production to ensure they are completed accurately and efficiently.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Printing Industry is essential. You may have a Production Estimating, Manufacturing background, be a Trade Print Finisher or a knowledgeable administration staff member from the industry and are looking for an opportunity to grow. ? Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing accurate and timely estimates for Sheetfed Offset, Digital and Wide Format print jobs

- Gathering job specifications and information from Sales and Production teams to ensure quotes are complete and correct

- Analysing costings across materials, labour, and production processes to ensure competitive and profitable pricing

- Presenting quotes in a clear, logical format for internal stakeholders and clients





- Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing on outsourced materials and services where required

- Maintaining and updating estimating systems, templates, and pricing data

- Supporting the Estimating team with re-quotes, amendments, and job queries

- Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and turnaround times

- Good comprehension of information and the ability to analyse costings

- The ability to work at a fast pace to keep up with Sales and Production requirements

- The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously

- A strong work ethic

- A willingness to learn and adapt

- Intermediate computer skills

- Sheetfed Offset, Digital and Wide Format experience (desirable, but not required)

- A minimum of 3 years' experience within the printing industry (essential)
