Nanambinia Group is a majority Indigenous-owned, Supply Nation Certified contractor delivering commercial fencing, civil works and project services throughout Western Australia and interstate.

We're growing our fencing crews and are looking for reliable, hard-working Commercial Fencer Offsiders to join the team.

This isn't a residential fencing labouring role.

About the role

You'll work alongside experienced installers delivering fencing packages across major infrastructure, mining, utilities, Defence, transport, commercial and government projects. This is an opportunity to learn a genuine trade skill and develop into a Commercial Fence Installer and eventually a Leading Hand or Supervisor.

What you'll learn and work on

You'll assist our installers with:

- Chainmesh fencing

- Weldmesh security fencing

- Garrison and palisade fencing

- Rural and mine-site fencing

- Temporary fencing

- Sliding, cantilever and pedestrian gates

- Razor and barbed-wire security systems

- Post installation and concrete works

- Fence demolition and removal

- Materials handling and site preparation

- Measuring, setting out and levels

- Reading drawings and specifications

- Using fencing tools and equipment

- Operating plant where trained and authorised

You'll also get exposure to fencing manufactured through our Wangara facility, giving you an understanding of the complete process from fabrication through to installation on site.

Who we're looking for





Previous fencing or construction experience is useful, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.

You'll suit this role if you're physically capable and comfortable working outdoors, turn up when you say you will, can work effectively as part of a crew, take safety seriously and want to develop practical skills rather than remain a general labourer.

A current driver's licence and White Card are highly desirable. Plant tickets, EWP, Working at Heights, First Aid and other construction qualifications will also be viewed favourably.

Regional and remote work may be available, so flexibility to travel will be an advantage.
