The Company

Join a market leading organisation within the Australian energy and utilities sector delivering a significant regulatory and compliance program across critical infrastructure assets. The Role

This is a day rate contract opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major compliance program within the energy sector. Working across business, technology, operations, risk and compliance teams, you will support a broad range of analysis activities with a particular focus on risk assessments, controls, compliance requirements and practical remediation. The program has exposure to SOCI and CIRMP requirements, although direct experience with these frameworks is highly desirable rather than essential.

Responsibilities

* Facilitate workshops with business, operational, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders

* Support structured risk assessments and analysis of existing controls and supporting evidence

* Identify gaps,

dependencies and areas requiring further investigation or remediation

* Translate complex regulatory, operational and technology information into clear business outcomes and actions

* Develop and maintain assessment documentation, risk and control records and supporting program artefacts

* Prepare explicit findings and recommendations for senior stakeholders, governance forums and Risk Owners

Candidate Experience

* Strong Business Analyst experience gained within energy, utilities, critical infrastructure or another complex regulated sector, with demonstrated exposure to risk and compliance programs

* Demonstrated experience supporting risk assessments, controls analysis, compliance, governance or remediation activities, with exposure to SOCI, CIRMP, AESCSF or comparable regulatory frameworks highly regarded

* Experience working across complex technology and operational environments, ideally involving IT, operational technology, cyber risk, operational resilience or critical infrastructure systems

Please note, we can only contact successfully shortlisted candidates. This process typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
