B.A Roads is a proudly Australian-owned asphalt company delivering quality road construction, resurfacing and maintenance works across Victoria. We are continuing to grow our Victorian operations and are looking for motivated and reliable Asphalt Crew Members to join our team.

About the Role
You’ll be part of a hands-on, fast-paced asphalt crew working across a range of road maintenance, resurfacing and major project works throughout Victoria.
This role suits someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in their workmanship and works well as part of a team. Whether you have previous asphalt experience or are looking to develop your skills within the industry, we’re interested in hearing from people with the right attitude and work ethic.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with laying, raking, shovelling and compacting asphalt
- Assist paver and roller operators as required
- Operate hand tools, small plant and equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare work areas and assist with site set-up and clean-up
- Follow project specifications, instructions and secure work procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Take care of company plant, equipment and materials
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other crew members
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Comply with B.A Roads policies, procedures and safety requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous asphalt, road construction or civil labouring experience is preferred but not essential
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under direction
- Physically capable of undertaking manual and outdoor work
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- HR or HC licence is highly regarded
- Experience operating asphalt-related plant and equipment is essential
- Willingness to learn and develop within the asphalt industry
