The Opportunity
As an Administration Officer in the City of Perth, you will provide high-quality administrative, coordination and customer service support to our Infrastructure and Assets Unit. Using your initiative and attention to detail, you will help keep daily operations running smoothly while managing competing priorities in a responsive service environment.
Reporting to the Alliance Manager Infrastructure and Assets, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, agendas, correspondence and reports, alongside employee onboarding and team training arrangements;
- Managing incoming enquiries and the shared inbox, providing responsive customer service and resolving or escalating matters as appropriate;
- Supporting records management and compliance, including Freedom of Information enquiries, and maintaining current procedures, forms and policies; and
- Raising purchase orders, reconciling invoices and monitoring expenditure against operating budgets.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Experience delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused administrative support, with the ability to independently manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic record keeping systems and other software packages;
- Experience with budgets, purchasing, invoicing and other financial procedures; and
- Effective customer service, written, verbal and numeracy skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle sensitive information with discretion and resolve or escalate enquiries appropriately.
Experience supporting a technical, infrastructure, works or project-based business unit would also be highly regarded.

- Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical, if required for the role; and
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance dated within the preceding three months.
