About the opportunity:

Fitness Ventures is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function across our multi-site business.

Supporting eight World Gym locations across Western Australia plus the Fitness Ventures central entity, this is a hands-on role with direct exposure to the CEO and Directors and genuine involvement in the financial performance and decision-making of the business.

This isn't a finance role that operates in isolation. You'll work closely with our operational leadership team, providing clear financial information, helping managers understand the performance of their clubs and supporting commercial decisions across the business.

About Fitness Ventures:

Fitness Ventures operates eight World Gym locations across Western Australia, including Canning Vale, Midland, Malaga, Joondalup, Mandurah, Bunbury, Australind and Busselton.

Our support office works closely with our club teams to drive performance across the group. As Finance Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring our financial systems, reporting, controls and processes support the needs of the business.

The role:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take ownership of the finance function across the group, establishing and maintaining strong financial controls, driving accountability across the business and ensuring accurate and timely reporting, cashflow management, payroll and statutory compliance.

You'll also act as the primary finance contact for our banks, lenders and external accountants and provide the CEO and Directors with reliable financial information to support decision-making.





· Managing financial functions across our multi-entity Xero environment

· Delivering month-end, group P&L; and regular management reporting

· Managing cashflow forecasting and identifying funding requirements or financial risks

· Leading annual budgeting and reforecasting, including wage budgets and club-level EBITDA targets

· Managing end-to-end payroll, including STP, superannuation and WA payroll tax

· Overseeing AP, AR, bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations

· Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS and ensuring statutory obligations are completed on time

· Managing banking relationships, loan facilities and covenant reporting

· Coordinating year-end requirements with external accountants

· Maintaining and improving financial controls, policies and procedures

· Providing financial analysis and input into commercial decisions, projects, leases and capital works

· Working with operational managers to improve their understanding of budgets and financial performance

· Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, automation and reporting

What you'll bring:

We're looking for an experienced finance skilled who is comfortable taking ownership, working across multiple entities and partnering with both senior leadership and operational teams.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:





· CA or CPA qualification, or currently be working towards qualification

· Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar finance management role

· Strong multi-entity Xero experience, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations

· End-to-end payroll experience, including STP, superannuation and WA payroll tax

· Experience preparing and lodging BAS and IAS

· Experience managing banking relationships and loan covenant reporting

· Advanced Excel skills, including building and maintaining forecasting models

· Experience working with external accountants

· Strong attention to detail and sound financial judgement

· The confidence to work with non-finance managers and hold teams accountable to financial deadlines

Experience working within a multi-site business will be highly regarded.
