Reporting to the Area Manager – Civil / NPI, you'll support the delivery of civil and non-process infrastructure projects across the Watershed Project and other company developments. You'll coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities while helping drive safe and efficient project execution
- Coordinating civil construction and infrastructure packages
- Managing contractor and consultant interfaces
- Reviewing designs, drawings and technical documentation
- Supporting construction planning, scheduling and progress reporting
- Monitoring costs, procurement and project performance
- Driving quality assurance, inspections and project handovers
- Promoting strong safety leadership across site activities
About You
We're looking for a proactive Project Engineer who enjoys being part of a team, solving problems and helping projects move forward. To be considered for this position, you will possess the following.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 7 years' experience in mining, infrastructure or heavy civil projects
- Experience managing contractors and engineering consultants
- Strong understanding of civil earthworks and infrastructure delivery
- Knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities and construction methodologies
- Experience in EPC/EPCM or owner's team environments
- Robust planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel regularly to remote project locations
