About Redland
We grow, harvest, pack and market citrus, pome fruit, table grapes, stone fruit and kiwifruit from our farms across QLD, NSW, VIC and WA. Our vision is to be the producer of the world’s most desired fruit – that means we’re passionate about having the right people in the right roles.
About the Role
We’re looking for two experienced Supply, Inventory and Operations Planners to join our Supply Chain team, each taking ownership of a key fresh produce portfolio:
- Southern Citrus & Apples – based in Mooroopna, with approximately 25% travel to Mildura, Griffith and Swan Hill.
- Table Grapes, Northern Citrus & Kiwifruit – based in Mooroopna, with approximately 25–50% interstate travel, including Emerald, Manjimup and Sunraysia.
Reporting to the Manager Supply Chain Planning, you’ll own the end-to-end supply plan for your allocated portfolio, translating crop forecasts and customer demand into practical inventory, packing, storage and logistics plans. You’ll work closely with our farming, operations, sales and supply chain teams to balance supply, capacity and customer requirements in a fast-moving, seasonal setting.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain rolling supply forecasts and harvest-to-packshed/storage intake plans for your allocated portfolio.
- Translate supply and demand requirements into packing, inventory, storage and release plans across Redland and third-party facilities.
- Set and manage inventory targets, monitor stock age and coverage, and identify supply, inventory and capacity risks.
- Plan inter-site and outbound logistics, including load consolidation, cold chain requirements, transport capacity and export movements.
- Coordinate planning across relevant packing, storage, logistics and third-party providers.
- Lead weekly supply and inventory reviews and provide key inputs, risks and opportunities into Redland’s integrated business planning process.
- Partner closely with farming, packing, cold storage, logistics, procurement and sales teams to respond to changing seasonal conditions and operational requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in supply, inventory or operations planning, ideally within horticulture, food manufacturing or another perishable supply chain.
- Strong forecasting, data analysis and problem-solving capability, with experience working across changing supply and operational constraints.
- Demonstrated experience planning across inventory, packing, storage, transport and third-party service providers.
- Experience with export supply chains, cold chain requirements and long-term storage programs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across farming, operations, commercial teams and external providers.
- Strong capability with spreadsheets,
MS Office and relevant planning systems, together with a current driver's licence and willingness to travel
- Experience within citrus, apples, table grapes or kiwifruit, integrated business planning, packhouse/inventory systems or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be highly regarded.
