Operations & Marketing Manager: Churchs Tactical & Axe and Golf

We're after someone who loves getting stuff done. You'll keep the admin running like clockwork, then turn around and dream up the next big promo. If you're the person who makes things happen AND makes it fun, we want to meet you.

About us:

Churchs Tactical & Outdoors is a Townsvile retail store (in-store and online) supplying tactical gear to Defence, police and emergency services, plus a range of outdoor gear. Under the same roof at 169 Ingham Road is Axe and Golf, our bar and venue where people come to grab a drink, throw axes, swing clubs and have a seriously good time.

Our vibe? Super cruisy and laid back, but everyone knows what to do and how to do it, No drama, no micromanaging, just a good crew getting positive things done.

What you'll do:

You'll work side by side with the owner and lead our team and managers to keep both businesses humming and growing.

Admin and execution (a big part of the role):

- Look after bills, accounts and day to day administration.

- Keep systems, schedules and processes tidy and on track.

- Take ideas and actually make them happen, start to finish.

- Oversee day to day management of both businesses and help our managers run things even better.

Makreting and growth:

- Plan and run promotions, events and campaigns for the Axe and Golf bar and venue.





- Manage the Church's Tactical website and online store.

- Manage the Axe and Golf website.

- Team up with local businesses, clubs, and organistions on collaborations.

- Create content and run our socials.

- Bring fresh ideas and help grow both businesses.

About you:

- Seriously organised and loves ticking things off.

- Easygoing, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around.

- A doer who takes ownership and follows through.

- Admin and bookkeeping experience.

- Marketing or promotions experience (social, events, partnerships).

- Confident with websites or keen to learn fast.

- Happy to work some weekends, especially through our busy season ahead.

- Bonus points if youre into the outdoors, tactical gear or a good night out.
