Mayne Pharma is seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Coordinator to join our Engineering and Maintenance team at our Salisbury manufacturing site. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will coordinate external contractors and support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of site utilities and facilities.

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for utilities, facilities issues and external contractors attending site. The role is responsible for arranging repair and maintenance work, coordinating service contractors, maintaining contractor documentation, and ensuring work is completed in line with GMP, WHS and internal compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate external contractors for building repairs, plumbing, painting, gutters and other facility maintenance work.
- Manage service providers for fire systems, building management systems, boilers, water plants, chillers, air handling, pest control, security and grounds keeping.
- Act as the key contact and subject matter expert for Building Management Systems, including Schneider and Johnson Controls systems, daily alarm review and deviation follow-up.
- Ensure contractor permits, licences, approvals, inductions, reports and records are current, authorised and stored correctly.
- Ensure all contractor work is completed safely and in accordance with WHS regulations, internal standards and GMP requirements.
- Drive services-related Change Controls and Quality Events in partnership with the Quality team.
- Support contractual service schedules, requisition replacement parts as required and contribute to engineering and maintenance team goals.
- Provide backup support to the Maintenance and Engineering leadership team when required.

About you

You will be a solid communicator who can build effective working relationships with internal teams,



external contractors and site stakeholders. You will bring a safety-focused mindset, sound documentation practices and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential requirements

- Mechanical/electrical trade qualification, Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience in facilities, utilities, or maintenance operations.
- Strong experience managing external contractors.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a chosen field of work.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
- High level of documentation skills in a regulated environment.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Applications from candidates with a mechanical or electrical trade background are strongly encouraged, and equivalent practical experience will be highly regarded.

Desirable experience

- Relevant post-trade or tertiary qualifications in engineering, facilities, utilities, or maintenance management (desirable).
- Understanding of GMP requirements.
Experience in a similar facilities, utilities or contractor coordination role.
- Understanding of CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as RCA and FMEA.

Key relationships

In this role, you will work closely with Maintenance and trade team members, Project and Manufacturing Engineers, Production supervisors and operators, the Maintenance Planner, QA, EHS, external contractors and visitors.
