Job Description:

Join our friendly and hardworking team at our Crestmead Distribution Centre as a Casual Warehouse Assistant. In this role, you will play an important part in helping deliver children's books to schools, families, and communities across Australia.

Starting with the team at 6am, you’ll assist with stock replenishment, picking, packing, pricing, and dispatching customer orders within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Our business is highly seasonal, with Mon-Fri peak operational periods generally lining up with the school terms and Book Week preparations. This makes it an ideal opportunity for parents, caregivers, or anyone with school-holiday commitments looking for a genuine casual arrangement, with some limited opportunity for shifts outside of peak season.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock replenishment and inventory movement throughout the warehouse.

- Accurate picking, packing and pricing

- Manual handling of cartons and products in accordance with OHS standards.

- Maintaining a clean, organised,



and secure work environment.

- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational targets.

- Assisting in other warehouse duties as required.

Successful candidates must be able to:

- Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to attending scheduled shifts.

- Demonstrate flexibility in availability, with the ability to work multiple days per week during peak seasonal periods. Safely perform repetitive manual handling tasks, including frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, throughout the day.

- Demonstrate a willingness to contribute positively to the team environment

- Previous warehouse, distribution centre, or pick-packing experience is preferred but not essential.
