Hospitality Trainer and Assessor – Full Time

Full-time permanent position | eligible for 9-day fortnight (RDO system)
Victoria Park, WA | College vehicles provided for work-related travel

Important: Applicants must be available to work until 8:00 pm three nights per week and every second Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hospitality Trainer and Assessor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The position is based at our Victoria Park campus and involves metropolitan travel to workplaces and client sites using College-provided vehicles.

Training is predominantly workplace-based, providing an opportunity to work directly with hospitality employees and employers in real industry environments.

The position is available for an immediate start.

About the role

As a Hospitality Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training, supporting learners throughout their qualifications and conducting competency-based assessment in accordance with VET and College requirements.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently in hospitality environments while also contributing to a supportive and professional training team.

Essential qualifications and experience

Applicants must have:





- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a recognised equivalent

- Current hospitality qualifications to at least Certificate III level

- A minimum of three years' relevant hospitality industry experience

- Current and relevant hospitality industry skills and knowledge

- Willingness to undertake professional development and upskill into new or updated qualifications as required

- A current Australian driver's licence

- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Word & Excel, online research and confidence using computers and mobile devices

- Availability to work until 8:00 pm three nights per week and every second Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon

What we offer

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with an established RTO and includes an attractive 9-day fortnight through our RDO system.

You will work with a diverse range of learners and employers, supported by an experienced training team. College vehicles are provided for required workplace and metropolitan travel.

Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications, industry experience and training and assessment experience.
