About the Role The successful specialist will participate in a1-in-8 General Medicine on-call rosterand contribute to the delivery of high-quality inpatient and consultation services.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
Providing specialist General Medicine and Gastroenterology services
Participating in the 1-in-8 General Medicine on-call roster
Caring for medical outlier patients
Providing general medical consultations
Participating in ortho-geriatric consultations
Contributing to a Rapid Access Medical Clinic
Assisting with the collection, analysis and review of general medical ward data and outcomes
Contributing to quality improvement and service development
Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
