This is a full-time, ongoing position based at George Street in Sydney CBD.Key responsibilitiesCoordinate and prioritise resources across one or more construction projects to meet agreed timeframesApply the hierarchy of controls and other risk management tools across project stagesArrange the procurement and timely delivery of materials, plant and equipmentConsult with and build strong relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors, clients, and trades workers throughout the course of each projectMonitor project progress against timelines, costs, quality standards and budgets,



and report on these to managementNegotiate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholdersEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with the Building Code of Australia, relevant Australian Standards, and work health and safety legislationManage, lead and supervise subcontractors and on-site teamsProvide regular project updates, progress reports, and performance metrices to senior management and other stakeholdersAbout youA bachelor degree or higher qualification in construction management, civil engineering, building or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience managing construction projectsAn understanding of the principles of most trades and servicesHigh level understanding and proven dedication to OHS&E; principlesWork experience within the fit out and refurbishment building industryDemonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of building or engineering construction projectsStrong organisational, negotiation and stakeholder-management skillsSound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, relevant Australian Standards, and work health and safety obligationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
