At Anglicare we are looking for a Tenancy Manager who will play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain safe, stable and sustainable housing to help create positive housing outcomes.
Join a values-driven team where compassion, respect and community impact are at the heart of everything we do.Full time, on-site position with frequent travel, standard working hours Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Tenancy Manager ResponsibilitiesAs a Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential tenancies across Anglicare's Housing portfolio.
Working closely with residents, service providers, internal stakeholders and external agencies, you will ensure tenancy obligations are met, residents are supported, and housing services are delivered in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
You will play a key role in fostering positive tenant experiences, maintaining tenancy compliance and supporting long-term housing outcomes.
With professionalism, empathy and strong tenancy management expertise, you will:Tenancy ManagementManage tenancy agreements, tenancy onboarding and resident transitionsOversee rent setting, rent reviews and rent collection processesManage tenancy enquiries, complaints,
disputes and lease-related mattersEnsure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and community housing requirementsResident & Community SupportBuild strong relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer serviceSupport tenants to access relevant services and community supports where requiredProperty & Asset CoordinationConduct property inspections and prepare tenancy-related reportsIdentify and elevate maintenance and property condition issues by liaising with Asset Management teamsMonitor tenancy and property matters to ensure appropriate follow-up and resolutionAdministration & ComplianceMaintain accurate tenancy records, documentation and reportingPrepare tenancy reports, rental reviews and compliance documentationMonitor trends, analyse data and support reporting requirementsWhat You'll BringYou are a customer-focused tenancy professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and helping people maintain stable housing.What's RequiredMinimum 2-3 + years' experience in tenancy or property management2 years of strong understanding of social housing, affordable housing or community housing environmentsExcellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skillsCurrent Driver's Licence and own carCurrent Working with Children Check or willingness to obtainWhat's PreferredExperience managing tenancy agreements, rental reviews and tenancy complianceSound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and tenancy management principlesStrong administration,
