Wilmar Sugar & Renewables is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanical Fitter to join our Mobile Services team at Proserpine Mill in the beautiful Whitsunday Region.About The RoleAs a Heavy Diesel Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting our fleet of locomotives, mobile plant, and associated equipment to ensure protected and reliable operations.
Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll have the chance to apply your trade across a wide range of equipment while developing new skills in a unique industrial environment.Employment ConditionsPermanent full-time positionCrushing Season (June to December): Night shift rosterMaintenance Season (January to May): Day work rosterCompetitive remuneration and conditionsOpportunities for ongoing training and career developmentAbout YouYou are a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys solving mechanical problems.Essential RequirementsCertificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Diesel Fitter) or equivalent trade qualificationCertificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology will also be consideredDemonstrated experience servicing, repairing,
