Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit on a contract basis.
This eight-week placement, commencing 14 September ****, offers the opportunity to deliver high-acuity care in a dynamic critical care setting.
Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role is ideal for a clinician looking to make an immediate impact in a busy ICU setting.
Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU environment with exposure to ventilated patients and complex clinical presentations
Eight-week contract placement with flexibility and the chance to work alongside an experienced critical care team
Based in Broken Hill, NSW, with the opportunity to contribute to essential healthcare services in regional Australia
Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated ICU nursing experience with proven competency in managing ventilated patients
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Competency in ventilator management and monitoring of critically ill patients
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced critical care setting
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in critical care nursing
Additional certifications in intensive care (e.g. CICM or equivalent) are advantageous
