Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist Gastroenterology
Working within a large, multidisciplinary gastroenterology service, you will deliver high-quality specialist care while contributing to research, education, service improvement and the ongoing development of gastroenterology services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Academic SMO working at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH)
Perform diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and attend specialist outpatients
Develop and lead research in areas of liver disease and familial bowel cancer
Utilise the current research support and work toward grant acquisition to expand the research portfolio of the Dept
Present findings from the research generated at local (RBWH Gastroenterology Academic half day), state and interstate meetings
