Roster:5 days on, 2 days off (5/2)
Key Responsibilities
Review purchasing requirements and prioritise urgent or schedule-critical orders.
Source local and regional suppliers, issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Raise and administer purchase orders in line with approval processes and delegated authorities.
Track and expedite orders to meet project schedules, escalating supply risks when required.
Coordinate deliveries and resolve discrepancies with suppliers, Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance.
Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate, auditable procurement records.
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years' experiencein purchasing or procurement.
Hands-on experience with RFQs, commercial comparisons,



supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and expediting.
Experience usingSAP S/4HANA, SAP, or another ERP system.
Robust commercial judgement and the ability to assess cost, lead time, and supply risk.
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Willingness to relocate to Goulburn or work on a FIFO arrangement.
Experience inconstruction, infrastructure, energy, mining, manufacturing, or heavy industryis preferred.
Experience purchasing industrial equipment, consumables, plant hire, or technical services would be an advantage.
