St Martin's Residential Aged Care, Taigumis seekingRegistered Nurseto join our team on acasual basis.Casual pay rates range from $***** to $***** per hour, depending on the applicable classification and experience.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to our residents, including comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning and ongoing clinical support.
You will work collaboratively with residents, families, colleagues and external healthcare providers to ensure residents' individual care needs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide protected, high-quality andperson-centred nursing carein accordance with professional, legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Maintain currentAHPRA registrationand comply with nursing qualified standards, policies and procedures.
Conduct comprehensiveclinical assessmentsand accurately document residents' current health status and care needs.
Develop, implement and regularly reviewholistic care plansbased on residents' individual needs and assessment outcomes.
Participate inAged Care Funding assessments and documentation, ensuring accurate information is maintained.
Deliver and overseeclinical care, including medication administration, treatments and other nursing interventions within scope of practice.
Coordinate, supervise and delegatecare to ENs, AINs, PCWs and other support staff appropriately.
Liaise withGPs, allied health professionals, families and other healthcare providersto coordinate effective resident care.
Monitor residents' progress and respond appropriately tochanges in health or clinical condition, including coordinating hospital transfers and external appointments when required.




Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A currentNational Police Check
Degree in Nursing
Current registration with AHPRA and evidence of recent practice
Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required
Required to be on-call
