Contract:6 months, with a high possibility of extension
Location:NSW |Regular travel to Central Coast project sites required
Overview
We are seeking an experiencedProject Directorto lead the planning and delivery of major, complexhospital and health projects.
This is a senior client-side leadership role responsible for achieving project and program outcomes across the full project lifecycle.
You will lead multidisciplinary project teams and work closely with government, health, clinical, operational and industry stakeholders.
The role will requireregular travel to project sites across the Central Coast.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery ofmajor hospital projects.
Manage multidisciplinary and specialist project teams to achieve agreedtime, cost, quality and delivery outcomes.
Provide expert advice acrossbusiness cases, project briefs, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and transition.
Manage project budgets, programs, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
Establish and maintain effectiveproject governance, controls, assurance and executive reporting.
Lead engagement and negotiation with complex stakeholder groups, including government, health services, consultants, contractors and delivery partners.




Manage competing stakeholder priorities and drive collaboration towards agreed outcomes.
Analyse project performance and develop strategies to addresscost, schedule, risk and delivery variances.
Lead effective transition between project stages while maintaining alignment with organisational objectives.
ChampionWork Health & Safety, ensuring safety remains a key priority throughout project delivery.
Skills
Extensive experience as aProject Director, Senior Project Director or senior major-project delivery professional.
Demonstrated experience deliveringlarge-scale, complex infrastructure or capital works projects.
Strongclient-side project deliveryexperience.
Experience across thefull project lifecycle, from business case and planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Experience withinhospital, health, social infrastructure or complex major building projectswill be highly regarded.
Ability to successfully managemultiple priorities and non-negotiable project timeframes.
Robust leadership, emotional intelligence and relationship-management skills.
Demonstrated commitment toWHS and safety leadership.
Willingness and ability totravel regularly to Central Coast project sites.
