Our client, a well-established accounting practice, is seeking an experienced
Senior Bookkeeper
to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper to take on a senior role with a firm that values professional development and client excellence.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive bookkeeping services to a diverse client portfolio, whilst mentoring junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Process client bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting balances
Review work prepared by bookkeeping staff for allocated clients
Manage client relationships and communications
Provide ad-hoc support to the accounting team
Contribute to process improvements and service enhancements
Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards
Essential Requirements:




Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping software (Xero, MYOB, QBO, Dext)
Strong understanding of business tax obligations (GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Super, WorkCover)
Experience with payroll processing and employee entitlements
Excellent client service and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Minimum 32 billable hours per week capacity
